Catalina Island Engagement Photographer / Michelle + Christian

Michelle + Christian Love Story: “It’s like, in that moment the whole universe existed just to bring us together” – Serendipity There are times when all the planets and stars work together to bring two people together and this time it was for Michelle and Christian. The two were working together on a long-distance project when they met in March 2013. Michelle a Project Manager in Southern California and Christian an Implementation Manager in Texas were working together to implement a new software where Michelle was working. One phone call started it all as Michelle asked Christian if he would be willing to go to dinner and have some drinks after work one night, when he was in town, so they could discuss the project more in depth. Christian being a gentlemen could not refuse the request of a beautiful lady and accepted the offer. That one night would change everything. Fast forward a few years and Michelle is now living in Texas close to Christian with a new job. Those few years were whirlwind of fun, romance and of a love these two never felt for any other person. On a trip to Southern California in July 2017 Christian decided it was the right time to ask for Michelle’s hand in marriage on a trip to Catalina Island. With a ring in hand, Christian got down on one knee and asked for Michelle’s hand in marriage. Michelle has many fond memories of the island as a child and never thought she would be proposed too on such a beautiful island. Carissa recommended their engagement pictures be done on Catalina Island, where the two were engaged and in places Michelle has fond memories of as a child. They say third time is a charm and in this case it was true after two cancellations because of COVID-19 they were finally able to go to Catalina Island on the third time and have beautiful engagement pictures taken. Thank you Carissa! Let’s catch everybody up to 2020, Michelle and Christian moved from Texas to Southern California in 2018 as they missed her family and friends while living in Texas. The two had many adventures in Texas but their greatest adventure is still yet to come after being engaged on Catalina Island. As they started to make wedding plans last year this global pandemic has completely thrown their wedding up in the air but now is their moment and it will not be changed or be altered as they prepare to be married in October 2020. A love like theirs cannot be cancelled or contained it can only be cherished and shown. No matter what happens or who can attend these two will be married for all to see. #ValledorMarquezWedding #LoveisNOTcancelled
