chapel of orange - dyanne + ross
Words from the bride: On January 20th, 2019, I married my best friend and the love of my life. Of course I woke up anxious about the day ahead. The same kind of worries any bride worries about. Would my makeup look ok? Would my pictures turn out well? Are the guests going to enjoy themselves? But I couldn't have been more blessed to be surrounded by the best friends and family anyone could ask for, all of whom made it the most perfect day ever.
Because we come from different backgrounds (I am Chinese/Vietnamese), we wanted to have a wedding where both of our cultures would be celebrated. So, we held a traditional tea ceremony in the morning at my parents house, followed by a more traditional chapel ceremony at The Chapel of Orange, leading up to our wedding reception held at Diamond Seafood Palace. I wore a custom made Qi Pao/Cheongsam for my tea ceremony, then changed into a white gown for the chapel and reception. He looked so handsome in his suit and bowtie. You bet it was a long day, but Carissa and her team were amazing and so accommodating, making sure that every precious moment was captured.
The venues were beautifully decorated and every one of my vendors were amazing to work with. We received so many compliments about how beautiful the venues were, and more importantly, how much fun everyone had!!! We were so relieved, not only because it turned out to be so magical, but also because we were finally married! No more planning and stressing. Just the rest of our lives to enjoy each other and make new memories, together.
